Horse Club supports Brighter Days Horse Refuge with time, donations
The Horse Club recently supported Brighter Days Horse Refugewith a Saturday work day and monetary donations from club members and from the Horse Club.

Fourteen youth members and several parents helped to muck stalls, move hay and offer fresh carrot and apple treats to the resident horses.

Brighter Days Horse Refuge is a non profit, 501(3)(c) organization that is a placement facility for abused and neglected horses. They receive board and care and can be adopted.

Right:  Jeanie Weatherholtz is pictured here with the Club members who, in a regular meeting, voted to donate $1000 to the Refuge.
